Very well made detailed badge. Good thickness. Its not what call a pin badge, it's got a brooch backing.

My Father was a DDay Veteran. He landed on Sword Beech on Motor Transport Craft Sherwood. He got to Hermanville with those in his charge on the first day.
He never spoke about his experiences .
